Manager - Human Resources - BPO/IT (7-8 yrs)
We are looking for HR Manager @ Melbourne, Australia and this is for one of our MNC clients which is headquartered in New York and has more than 28,000+ professionals world wide.
This role will be responsible for managing employee life cycle, liaison closely with the business and the empanelled hiring partners, drive engagement through clear communication, connect session, R&R, capability development initiatives, liaison with the payroll and tax consultants to ensure seamless payroll processing and related query resolution etc.
Designation: Manager - Human Resources
Experience: 6-8 years in HR
Reporting to: Sr. Assistant Vice President HRBP

Key Responsibilities:
During Major Events:
- Liaison closely with the business and the empanelled hiring partners to on-board temporary contractors as per requirements within set timelines as well as de-board them post event
- Manage recruitment reporting for temporary contractors and share daily updates with the business
- Create and execute the Major Event People Engagement Plan with the help of business
- Conduct connect sessions with the contractors to ascertain the pulse of the group and act upon observations
- Drive business teams to timely upload and/or approve critical payroll related inputs to ensure seamless salary payments and invoicing
Non Event Business As Usual:
- End to end employee lifecycle management for permanent and/or fixed term claims contractors (associates and team leader level) on company payroll
- Create and execute the team level engagement plan for non event duration
- Drive engagement through clear communication, connect session, R&R, capability development initiatives
- Liaison with the payroll and tax consultants to ensure seamless payroll processing and related query resolution
- Governance through adherence to core people policies for company as well as the client
- Effectively monitor, manage and control risk to ensure that all required labour law compliances are being met at all times
Others:
- Provide timely and accurate advice on HR management activities, policies, practices, conditions of employment, entitlements and related issues to managers and staff
- Maintain and strengthen HR documentation including letters of offer, contracts, induction briefs, policies & procedures, templates and organisation charts

Education Requirements :
- Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
Work Experience Requirements :
- Strong HR generalist experience for at least 7 years experience (recruitment, performance management, C&B, learning & development, payroll, personal income tax, industrial relation etc.) for at least 7 years
- Experience working in global/ multinational companies
- Good knowledge of local labour law
