Job Responsibilities:-

- To continuously benchmark Human Resource Performance parameters of the Unit externally (with key players in the sector) as well as internally and develop and implement plans for improving the same.

- Ensure compliance of all statutory requirements.

- Ensure that feedback from the internal customers is captured analyzed and acted upon in an effective manner.

- To translate the unit plans and requirements into Human Resources processes and

operational plans.

- Represent unit issues in business wide HR strategy and implementation

- To facilitate development of knowledge & expertise of contemporary Human Resource policies, programs, laws and issues amongst the Unit management and HR team.

- Provide technical/functional guidance to different Function heads, unit heads and HR team members.

- To develop staffing strategies and implementation plans so as to identify talent within and outside the unit for critical middle level positions.

- Ensure development of robust and scalable talent acquisition and succession planning for the unit.

- Work closely with the unit head, function heads and business HR to establish appropriate approaches for talent acquisition with the objective of driving efficiencies of cost and effectiveness of acquisition.

- Ensure harmonious industrial and employee relations with all level of union and maintain good public relations, relations with local industry and bodies to ensure smooth and peaceful plant operations while optimising associated costs.

- Development of unit specific welfare schemes and effective implementation of Group

schemes.

- Ensuring compliance with all legally mandated employment and labour laws, and managing related risk and legal exposure.

- To maintain cordial relations, understand employee issues and grievances and for providing conducive atmosphere for unit's operations.

- Ensure development and deployment of processes to meet statutory, legal compliance

Requirements.

- Ensuring timely audits and sharing with the management to address the same.

- Develop mechanism to proactively scan the policy environment for any upcoming policy or law changes which may impact the unit and/ industry and propose appropriate actions based on the same.
