JOB DESCRIPTION OF THE HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT HEAD

I. ORGANIZATIONAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

- Determines Organizational Needs as directed by Management on Man Power from time to time

- Planning Organizational structure

- Development of Interpersonal relationships.

- Monitoring the Selection Process

II. STAFFING AND EMPLOYMENT.

- Man Power Planning in consultation with the Functional heads.

- Recruitment, Selection & Placement process

- Induction - Orientation

- Interact with Management on Promotion/Salary revision

- Discharge, Dismissal, Retirement, & Resignation etc.

- Planning the deployment of man power for judicious utilization - job rotation from department to department/machine to machine as per Agreements/SO

- Interview candidates to assess their suitability for employment and growth within the organization.

- Drafting of suitable appointment letters at all levels, contract agreement with contractors, consultants, outside agencies etc.

III. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:

If need be can provide training to the employees on Employee Development, Soft skills, teamwork, communication, positive attitude, discipline, etc. Drafted number of training programmes in line with organisation's need

IV. WAGE AND SALARY ADMINISTRATION

Co-ordinate with the concerned personnel for:

Job Evaluation:

- Wage/Salary Administration-Programmes

- Maintenance of Pay Roll - in co-ordination with concerned staff

- Performance Appraisal

- Incentives and Compensation

V. EMPLOYEE SERVICES AND BENEFITS

Co-ordinate with the concerned personnel for:

- Safety, Employee Counseling

- Medical Services, in case of needs

- Welfare Services

- Benefits - Leave, Pension, Gratuity, PF and other supplementary items.

VI. EMPLOYEE RECORDS

- Collection of Data

- Analysis of Data

- Developing information for Decisions.

VII. LABOUR RELATIONS

- Redressal of Grievances - Grievances handling with the day to day labour issues and interaction with the Union and staff members to maintain good industrial relations

- Implementation of Collective Labour Laws

- Collective bargain, wage negotiations Bonus, canteen issues,

- Discipline, Enquiries,

VIII. PERSONNEL, AUDIT, ETC.

- Record-Keeping with the help of the concerned staff

- Evaluation of Personnel Programmes in co=ordination with the HODs.

- Identification of needs and areas of change

- Development of more appropriate Programmes with the help of the concerned staff

- Up-keeping of the Organizational Concepts and Policy Implementation

IX. LEGAL AND OTHERS:

a. Industrial Relation - Interaction with the Labour Department on all labour disputes, compliance with legal formalities at all stages, interaction with company's advocate in drafting the para wise comments on plaints, counter statements, reply to rejoinders, submission of documents, etc.

b. Follow up with the advocates and interact on all the court cases - documentation, filing of replies, preparation of evidence of management witnesses, giving evidence, taking advise from Management on day to day progress and proceedings.

c. Legal Compliances = Interact with the personnel in HR Department in complying with all the statutory compliances

d. Licensing with government officers/ESI/PF/Labour/Factory Directorate, Revenue/Panchayat/Local Bodies

X. OTHERS:

a. Any other tasks/responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

b. Co-ordinating with the HR of other companies of the Group on HR Matters. Solving HR issues


Saalry offered: 10-15LPA
