Manager - Human Resource - Film School (8-12 yrs)

- Our client is one of the top 5 Film schools in the country run by a professional team and one of the biggest film Studio's of south. Supported by three generations of film personalities in various fields.

- The head of HR is responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the College, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. He/ she provides strategic leadership by articulating Human Resource needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and to the board of directors.

- HR Operations, HR Backend, Administration

- Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support College 's vision and strategic vision.

- Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall school's objectives.

- Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each department regarding key organizational and management issues.

- Working with College 's executive management, establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the firm.

- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of College 's strategic goals.

- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefit plans that are competitive and cost effective for the firm.

- Provide overall leadership and guidance to HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training and leadership development, compensation and benefits.

- Develop a comprehensive plan for internships and job opportunities. Monitor implementation of plan. Work with the board, Director and Dean for Industry partnerships and affiliations that will support College students for job placements

- Responsible for developing and implementing the College Alumni engagement framework

- Responsible for desgin, develop, implementation and monitoring of College student policies and employee handbook. Review the policies and procedures on an annual basis, recommend changes if any and educate all in College on the changes

- Responsible for identifying and presenting HR budget needs. Monitoring budget adherence

- Design, Develop and Implement Organisational Climate / Employee Satisfaction Survey. Analyse, recommend changes and implement as discussed

- Responsible for timely payroll
