We are seeking an HR Manager for our India offices. This will be a standalone role reporting to the Global Head of Human Resources and General Manager, India. This role will be based in Mumbai with responsibility for Human Resources in India (approximately 60 employees). India offices include Mumbai and Gurgaon.

Job Responsibilities include, but not are limited to the following :

- Recruitment

- Provide recruitment support to hiring managers

- Coordinate the administration of all job requisitions, postings, offer letters, background checks and obtaining visas if required

- Ensure that recruiting processes reflect use of best practices and urgency

- Manage relationships with outside recruiting firms; Identify strategic relationships and strengthen firm's overall relationship with these firms

- Employee Relations

- Manage the onboarding process, including inductions and orientations

- Coach managers on a variety of HR issues and general employee management. Escalate issues to Global Head of HR where required.

- Provide and assist with the implementation of creative ideas to enhance employee productivity and engagement

- Manage the termination process

- Conduct exit interviews

- Compensation

- Support the year end compensation process

- Consult with managers on the appropriate new hire and year end compensation packages

- Benefits

- Partner with external provider(s) in administering benefits

- Organizational Development

- Ability to assess employees and determine career development needs

- Implement training programs

- Special Projects

- Manage HR related aspects of opening new offices in the region

- Lead or work on HR projects with a local and/or global impact as needed

- Bachelor's degree or higher with a focus on Human Resource Management

- Minimum 10 years HR experience

- Experience working with a US company

- Strong knowledge of Human Resources across multiple functions

- Knowledge of local and regional employment laws

- Strong interpersonal and client service skills - this role will involve both significant interaction with senior managers as well as interaction with external vendors

- Good sense of judgment and decision making

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- Strong knowledge and familiarity with Excel

- Ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environment
