We have been retained by an established professionally managed, Asset Management Company with global affiliations to identify a Manager -Human Resource. The position has a pan India responsibility and is based in Mumbai.  Job Purpose:  - Create and leverage human capital strategies and leadership initiatives to ensure the HR function supports changing business needs and strategic goals.   - Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and vision.  - Act as a consultant to the Management to provide HR advice on the whole gamut of HR functions.  - Develop strategic HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.   - Formulate policy and direct and coordinate industrial relations activities of the organization.  Key Responsibilities:   - To manage human resources issues, help to establish and maintain positive relations with employees, and foster a productive working environment.  - Responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and professional Human Resource service through leadership, in the implementation of strategic initiatives and management of operational HR activities.   - Manage and supervise day to day activities which include Employee Engagements activities, Employee Relations and Statutory Compliance, Performance Management System, Labour Laws, Compliance Audits, Employee Counselling etc.  - Provide in-depth market insight and advice on talent implications of external trends and necessary next-steps to address potential workforce implications.  - Develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan. Ensure HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organization, as and when they occur.  - To Understand and demonstrate knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices related to identifying, attracting and acquiring talent as well as talent development strategies designed to enhance bench strength, diverse talent and workforce engagement.  - Ensure efficient design and delivery of all HR policies and ensure they are in line with industry practices.  - Understand and demonstrate knowledge of labor laws, rules, regulations, principles, and practices related to one or more HR Technical areas.  - Develop & Implement Training & Development programs and Capability building of the employees.  - Develop and maintain effective internal relationships with key stakeholders.  - Accomplish special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities.  - Actively participate in HR interventions, projects and ensure timely completion.  - Examine the trends related to attitudes, norms, systems, processes etc. that exists or can be analyzed from time to time.  - Understand the trends in the industry with respect to employee relations, labor compliances.  - The position will have four regional managers reporting in.  Desired Skills/Competencies :  - Excellent written and oral communication skills.  - Highly developed project management skills.  - Result oriented and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.  - Excellent computer skills (word, excel, outlook, power point, and various internet browsers).  - Self-motivated and driven.  - An ability to think strategically and a solution-based mentality.  - Good understanding of HR practices and working knowledge of HR functions including talent management, employee engagement, HR policies & procedures, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development.  - Strong reporting, analytical and data interpretation skills.  - Adopt a strength-based approach in all interactions with the business.  - Able to develop strategies and manage executions.  Candidate Profile:  Ideal candidates meeting with the above criteria should be MBAs specialized in Human Resources with 8 to 12 years experience in the BFSI sector.
