Manager - Human Resource - Advertising firm (3-5 yrs)

Job Responsibilities :

- Be an advocate for the talent agenda with management, building knowledge and networks of talent, integrating talent with other HR processes (such as resourcing, succession planning, leadership development, and learning) and promoting the flow of talent across other business units within Markets and TR

- Work with the leadership team to develop and implement HR processes and initiatives

- Be the custodian of HR guidelines and policy framework by actively engaging with managers across all levels to create consensus. Serve as a coach to guide and advise managers at all levels. Ensure organization values are practiced in the right spirit

- Streamline and supervise HR operations like payroll, leave, attendance, onboarding, exit management, benefits administration, HR analytics, and budgets to deliver best in class employee services

- Analyze trends in employee turnover, employee engagement surveys, pulse sessions and recommend interventions backed by data

- Develop and monitor informative HR dashboards to track key metrics for HR operations for continuous improvement

- Collaborate with all business units to address employee issues proactively

- Provide inputs in monthly and annual reviews and compensation planning

- Generate information from attrition analysis and devise action plan along with the line manager to control attrition

Key Skills :

- Exposure as HR Generalist managing workforce of 50 - 200 employees

- 3+ years of experience in the industry

- HR thought leadership, solid conceptual knowledge of HR

- Knowledge of HR statutory compliance

- Understanding of legal risks and liabilities associated with HR processes

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Soft skills - ability to handle people

- Ability to analyze and predict bottlenecks/ issues

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated

- Should be able to work under high pressure

- Comfortable with startup culture - ambiguous and unpredictable work hours

- You should be a hustler! Think out of the box to resolve recruitment issues

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public administration or closely related field

- Masters in Human Resources is a plus
