Manager - HR Business Partner - Manufacturing (5-7 yrs)

- The HRBP is responsible for partnering with the India Process Automation leadership team to provide HR support encompassing coaching, leadership development, workforce analysis/planning, organization design, change management, competency assessment/ development and employee engagement to ensure alignment to the business strategy.

- Liaises with the wider India HR organization groups including Service Centres, HR Solutions and the HRBP network to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of HR capabilities and services to serve the targeted client groups. Ensuring the business is properly resourced, aligned, developed, communicated with and compensated appropriately for performance and market competitiveness.

Scope of the role covers : PA India Hub, Engineering Excellence Centre (EEC) & Eurotherm.

Sizing: 35Meuros project business, 200 people mostly in sales and delivery within the hub and 350 people in EEC

Key Responsibilities :

a. Coaching

1. Act as trusted advisor, advice and coaching to business leaders on HR strategies and actions

2. Help shape points of views and provide feedback for groups as well as individuals

3. Interact with the business and rest of HR organisation

4. Collaborates to develop the strategic direction of the HR function & setting priorities

5. Ensure strong relations with HR Solutions & HR Services, for support.

6. Employee advocate to develop and action business specific programs for employee engagement

7. Actively participate on PA HR Leadership team and leverage peer group activities

8. Ensure high quality Employee Communications and Employee Engagement

9. Develop and implement effective communications' strategies

10. Manage relations with employee representatives to ensure local compliance to labour practices

11. Drive action planning and execution following employee surveys outcomes

12. Workforce Analysis/Planning

13. Take a lead and active role in workforce planning & analysis with business leaders and managers

14. Support leadership in maximising workforce efficiency while increasing organisation capability, through strong resource planning

b. Organisation Design

1. Ensure the organisation, its structure, resources and key relationships are aligned to business strategy, goals and processes

2. Support leadership in the integration of strategy, process, and people into the right structure with the right competencies and capabilities to realise the business plan and maximise performance

3. Lead in efforts for competency assessment and development to build capacity and capability

4. Focus on execution of business strategy by aligning HR systems to help accomplish the organisation vision and mission, together with the operational needs through monthly operations reviews.

c. Change Management

1. As a Change Agent, diagnose organisation problems, set & execute the change agenda

2. Ensure change processes are utilised, take into account how employees need to adapt new behaviours. Focus on learning to help employees to understand what can be rather than what is

3. Drive HR solutions & global transformations within the India perimeter, aligned to business needs.

d. HR Transformation

1. Drive the six HR transformations as defined globally under People Strategy: Talent, High Performance, Leadership, Learning, Diversity & Inclusion and Well-being.

2. Act as Executive coach assisting leaders with their development to maximise their effectiveness

3. Facilitate HR campaigns in alignment with the HR transformation that we intend to achieve

4. Drive the talent strategy by strengthening the talent pipeline and succession for key roles

5. Lead programs and initiatives to increase the engagement of the team focusing on key drivers

6. Customer Focus

7. Understand the business and customer requirements in order to ensure that HR activities and programmes are ultimately aligned with their needs and to ensure they can contribute effectively as members of business teams

8. Ensure the voice of the customer is heard when management decisions are being made. Screen people and organisation decisions through the eyes of the customer to ensure those decisions are aligned with customer expectations.

ABAC & India projects :

- Participate in APAC & India projects such as total rewards, diversity & Inclusion, Well-being, sales compensation, talent review, competency studies as needed

Qualifications and Requirements :

1. Credibility and integrity to act as Leadership Advisor

2. Experience in driving change at leadership level

3. Strong coaching, strategic consulting, facilitation and problem solving skills

4. Effective analytical skills with the ability to identify needs and issues and work with HR in developing programs to drive business performance

5. Excellent business acumen

6. Degree Qualified, HR or Related

7. HR Generalist/ Management background with 5-7 years of experience, ideally with complex project execution & commercial environments

8. Seeks to continuously improve performance, agile and adaptable

9. Mature and balanced in temperament

10. Able to build relationships at all levels

11. High collaborative working style while able to work independently
