Skill :

- Develops & leads the overall Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) for the site.

Major Skills :

- Candidate should be well aware about HSEMS and hands on experience on implementation and also certified ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 LA would be preferred

- Ability to define strategy on Waste, water and GHG initiative, awareness of Energy management would be added advantage

- Need hands on experience on implementation of Environment initiatives such as Water management, waste management and GHG

- Should be well aware about statutory requirement of Health, Safety and Environment

- Should have good analytical skills in trouble shooting of Environment operational issues

- Should be well aware about OH medical examination, Industrial hygiene norms and Egomaniacs

Additional skills :

- Incident investigation skills

- Risk assessments - Health & Safety, Environment, and operational control program

- Good presentation and Training skills

- Preparing HSE improvement strategy for projects / operations

- Ability to liaise with Statutory bodies, societies and etc.

- Construction experience

- Plant experience

- Test cell & lab experience

- Lifting experience

- Ability to work with Project management experience

- Ability to work with contractors

- Ability to drive enforcement of processes & safe behaviour while motivating team

- Ability to stand up to schedule & other pressures and push back against short cuts and unsafe behaviour

- Good communication skills

- Ability to manage conflicts and conflicting requirements
