Manager/Head - Software Product Development (10-25 yrs)
A member of the Global Product Engineering leadership. lead platform and application engineering teams
We require an innovative, entrepreneurial leader that has experience with large enterprise SaaS platforms and can lead R&D efforts to expand its SaaS capabilities and Agile Development Operations Methodology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a compelling product vision and roadmap based on a clear understanding of market requirements, competitive analysis (both business and technical), and positioning.
- Bring market insights to the engineering teams and propose inputs to define the product roadmaps and business strategy based on those insights.
- Collaborate with staff, users and senior management on establishing business goals, reviewing new and existing products, projects, solution designs, and plans, and conducting research on emerging technologies to support changes in infrastructure/solution strategy.
- Work with technical stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into recommendations for engineering teams while also ensuring own recommendations feed into appropriate solution architectures as well.
- Long-term product strategy. Be a champion of s product innovation story.
- Candidate Profile- 10 YRS IN software product development companies 14 plus years in leading engineering teams in an enterprise software product organization with experience in designing and developing the enterprise.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the cutting-edge world of Big Data and next-gen technical areas such as Artificial Intelligence, SaaS, and enable XYZ to become a champion in one or more of these areas.
