Our client is a vertical fintech play focused on solving industry-specific financing gaps in the food sector through the application of data. The platform provides skin-in-the-game growth capital to much-loved F&B brands. Founded in 2019, they are VC funded and based out of Singapore and India-Bangalore.

Founders are the alumnus of IIT-D, IIM-B and Wharton. They have 12+ years of experience as Venture capital and corporate entrepreneurship at DFJ, Vertex, InMobi and VP at Snyder UAE, investment banking at Unitus Capital - leading the financial services practice, and institutional equities at Kotak. They have a team of high-quality professionals coming together for this mission to disrupt the convention.

As a Business Development Associate/ Mgr, you will generate new brand leads, identify and contact founders and build a solid top of the funnel for the company's RBF.

What you will do:

- Strategizing top of the funnel expansion and identifying key channels for sourcing brands

- Explaining RBF and company products to the brands

- Acting as a liaison between the brands and the internal teams to complete the investments

- Improving brands experience

- Ideating on tech-product improvements to automate the funding application process for brands

- Implementing initiatives to improve TAT for brands

- Owning all the metrics that improve the client brand's experience with the company

Desired Candidate Profile :

What you need to have:

- MBA / PGDM

- 2-4 years of experience in roles that required liaising with consumer brands (previous experience at marketplaces, consumer-focused accelerators/ funds, partnerships backgrounds, or experience of investing/ financing consumer brands)

- Understanding of financials as they pertain to early-stage startups and related terminologies

- Excellent verbal and written English skills

- Experience in investing or advising or selling to D2C brands/ ecosystem
