Manager - General Ledger - Retail (4-6 yrs)
Our client worlds leading Retail Fashion Brand looking for candidates for the Manager - General Ledger position to manage their end to end accounting, controls and financial reporting.

Key Job Responsibilities
1 - Accounting
- Perform and ensure all transactions are captured and accounted on time as per the accounting manual and defined SOPs
- Perform and ensure that accounting is in compliance with relevant accounting standards and IND AS
- Ensure sub ledger reconciliations as per defined timelines and standards
- Ensure all relevant interfaces as per defined timelines to ensure proper accounting and reporting
- Ensure accounting manuals and schedule of authority on periodic basis, recommend necessary changes and take required actions in consultation with relevant stake holders
- Ensure to test process controls on periodic basis and take required actions in consultation with relevant stake holders
- Provide information to internal tax team during tax assessments and audits
2 - MIS and Financial Reporting
- Ensure perform, review and release monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and all related schedules as per the accounting standards and IND AS)
- Ensure Review of the ledger accounts on periodic basis, identify risks and report the same to the management through exceptional reports
- Prepare and publish dash boards to the relevant stakeholders as per defined timelines
- Review the ageing reports and take necessary actions
3 - Audit
- Provide support for the completion of all internal and statutory audits and take required actions to address issues arising from the audits
- Provide support for XBRL filling
4 - People Management
- Select the right team members
- Set expectations and give regular feedback to team
- Provide adequate support and motivate the team to deliver on the job
- Guide, coach, train and develop the team
