Manager - General Ledger/Accounting/Record To Report - BPO - CA (6-12 yrs)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Chartered Accountant and Bachelors Degree in Accountancy / Commerce
Indian or UK GAAP / US GAAP (Preferred)
- Sound accounting knowledge
- Prior customer management and people experience mandatory
- 8-10 years of experience
- Detail oriented & strong domain knowledge in R2R, Reporting, General Accounting (Journal Entry, Reconciliations, FA, Inter Company, Month end Close etc)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent presentation skills - MS office skills - Excel, PPT
- Experience in F&A Transformation
- Hands on exp in major ERP platform
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvements by working with operations to ensure timely and accurate financials.
- Assist in training operations on the financials and systems.
- Completion of monthly accounting close and related reporting, in a timely manner according to established deadlines.
- Assist in preparation of monthly landlord reports, lease and advance payment.
- Complete day after reporting with full analysis.
- Prepare and assist team in preparation of monthly balance sheet packages.
- Prepare quarterly variance reports.
- Ensure process documentations and internal control adhere to company policies and compliance guidelines, support statutory compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Indian GAAP/ or US GAAP knowledge and controllership experience
- Experience working with and resources (BPO Services )
- Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics NAV, Oracle 9i, AS400) and associated reporting tools, preferred
- Strong computer skills required, including MS Office Programs such as Word and Excel.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal at team and senior management level
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced private equity portfolio company environment
- Ability to work independently, in a team, and meet deadlines for private equity sponsor ad hoc and recurring reporting
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties
