Job Title: Manager, Fundraising

Location: Mumbai/Delhi/Chennai/Hyderabad

Reports to: CEO / Founder/Top Management

- The candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, and networking abilities.

- As a lead, you will be interacting directly with the CEO's office to facilitate fundraising activities. This role will be ideal for you if you are entrepreneurial, result oriented, and have aproven track record of building and activating a national / international donor network for organisations. Experience in development of an individual donor programme including donor marketing is also an advantage.

- Lead the annual fundraising planning process to produce effective strategies to achieve income targets across a range of revenue streams

- In cooperation with the management team, assist in creation of the strategy for fundraising activities and building a diverse portfolio with clear short, medium and long-term objectives

- Support and / or lead the end-to-end fundraising / grant process - undertake research, identify new donors (national + international), develop the fundraising pitch, meet potential donors, write proposals, undertake documentation, creation of impact reports

- Collaborate with program teams in preparation of technical proposal notes by drafting concept notes and proposals (including project objectives, approach and methodology, outcomes, workplan, staffing, budget, MEL and other requirements)

- Research and apply for grant opportunities by establishing a systematic process for partner outreach and relationship management

- Undertake donor management and reporting - coordinate with internal teams for data and insights, track and write donor reports, send regular updates to donors, facilitate field visits

- Manage some funder relationships independently + support the CEO or Founder in managing others

- Working closely with management team to produce cost-effective budgets, develop and maintain income and expenditure tracking systems

- Coming up with ingenious ways to raise awareness and raise the profile of the Foundation

Candidate Profile :

- Master's degree (MBA in Marketing or Finance, Communications, or other relevant fields or graduates with relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply)

- 8-10 years of fundraising experience with Prior experience of the social development would be a plus or experience in financial marketing and managing HNIs

Skills and Competencies:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to distill key points from large amounts of information, tailor presentations to different audiences, and able to communicate processes with colleagues

- Experience of managing a team

- Experience in planning and an eye for detail

- Proficiency in MS Office required including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Application process
