Responsibilities
Raise Funds:
- Drive the development of some of the sources listed above and will support the team with prospect research, portfolio management and managing gift operations.
- New donors: Work towards tapping into various networks to increase the base of new donors
- Existing relationships: Stewardship of donors based on their giving capacity, in order to ensure repeat donations and upgrades
Support the REGIONAL teams:
- Knowledge transfer: Best practices to be circulated to the city teams so that there is an effective learning loop
- Weekly check-ins to ensure that the funding cycle is being rigorously followed at the city level
- Support queries on day-to-day operations, Salesforce (our online cloud based data management system)
Process and Operations:
- Ensure that the team sticks to processes including keeping all proposals and documents up to date on the team site
- Use CRM to record all donor engagement and leads
Reporting:
- Work with the Finance team to ensure all reports are sent to donors in a complete and timely fashion
Work with multiple stakeholders:
- Work with the Communications team to ensure all marketing collateral are up to date and effective
- Work with the other teams to ensure that the YOUR team is abreast of the latest updates that could be relevant to development conversations
- Your team has a great culture of openness and collaboration. The Managers role will also be to maintain that culture.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Vendor management in terms of prints/ other technical requirements in terms of design
- To provide support to the larger Communications team during events and campaigns
Knowledge and Technical Skills :
- Proficient user of the MS Office toolkit

Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in client-facing roles
- Sectoral exposure to corporates/ foundations / worked with HNIs with experience with fundraising preferred
- Graduate/Post graduate
