Job Description :
- Reviewing estimated NAV and final deal able NAV
- Allocate work to the Team and ensure proper work allocation.
- Ensure backup of the funds between team members to avoid monotony at work.
- Monitor, motivate and guide the team and always be aware of any operational issues faced by the team.
- Resolve client queries and train & develop the team.
- Ensure proper coverage of work at all times Ensure that the team plans and takes leave in order to ensure that they don- t get over-stressed at work.
- Be a one point contact in India for the funds handled and coordinate with the US and UK offices and highlight / resolve any issues.
- Provide timely feedback to the team members on their performance and issues if any.
- Training the team on products/processes
- Ensuring smooth transition of new processes to India
- Streamlining existing processes and devising better ways of doing things through automation etc.
- Review draft financial statements
- Ensure audit queries are addressed timely and accurately
- Ensure operational risk is minimized by building controls around bespoke process
- Monitor the accuracy and timelines of deliverables
Display : (Desired Skills) :
- CA/MBA Finance/CFA/MMS
- CRM call report. Zero issues / errors escalated by clients
- Accuracy in working with large amounts of data.
- Managed Large teams and multiple clients
- Prior back office Operations / Fund Accounting experience Mutual fund industry experience
Deliver: (Goals) :
- Zero issues in IA review / SOC1 certification.
- Zero NAV restatements at all during the year attributable to FA
- NAV delivery deadlines to be met 85% of the time & Zero delay due to FA issues.
- Reduction in time spent on recurring FA tasks.
- Absorbing new launches with existing capacity
- Minimum changes to financials during CFR review
- All audits to be completed to the deadlines agreed with auditors
- Zero audit overruns due to GFS issues
- Zero uncommented breaks. Reasons for recurring breaks should be understood & solution provided to Devel / PMG to avoid their occurrence.
