As the Manager Fulfillment - South, you will be responsible to drive various aspects of supply chain -customer service, timely delivery,inventory management and overseeing warehousing and transportation.

What you will do:

Customer Service and Inventory Management

- Maintaining a high standard of customer service by immediately attending and resolving customer needs

- Controlling inventory levels by organizing and conducting physical counts and reconciliations

- Ensuring adequate on-hand stock levels are maintained in the Warehouse

- Ensuring product is available, staged, and that the amount of labor needed is on hand, so kitting (production) jobs and deadlines are met

- Actively suggesting new ideas to help improve workflow and accuracy of inventory

- Managing and maintaining all fulfillment operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures

- Reporting preparation and sharing with Management on the volume and nature of processed orders

Warehousing and Transportation

- Overseeing the unloading, verification, counting, quality check and recording for incoming vendor shipments

- Maintaining physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for kitting/repair and requisitions for replenishment

- Completing warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results

- Ensuring the effective utilization of warehouse area, equipment and other resources

- Assisting with cycle counts and discrepancies resolution

- Negotiating and finalising the warehousing, freight and 3PL partners as and when required

- Defining KPIs, analyzing metrics that inform success and managing logistics service providers

- Completing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports

- Partnering with IT to implement ERP and WMS

Team Management

- Managing and developing direct reports by coaching and counselling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

- Ensuring consistent, thorough timely communication to subordinates, peers and senior management

- Collaborating with other departments to improve business processes and efficiencies

What you need to know / have:

- MBA from NITIE, SP Jain, IIT SOM or equivalent institutes

- At least 5 years of post qualification experience in warehouse management

- Male candidates preferred

- Age: 27- 32 years

- High on tenacity and does not give up easily

- Able to work with other functions, resolve conflicts

- Transparent in communication; Can assert point of view openly and fight for ideas

- Strong multitasking and organizational skills to handle the roles that come with Customer Service roles

- Interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and providers of transportation and logistics services

- Resilient, good under pressure and manage stressful environment

- Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Should have excellent attention to detail
