Manager - Fixed Assets - Finance & Accounts (2-16 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Managing the entire spectrum of financial accounting & reporting related to Fixed Assets (including assets capitalized and under development) and Intellectual Property Capitalization in accordance with Ind AS. Maintaining robust internal control in this area.

- Working closely with stakeholders in controllership and finance to ensure all transactions related to fixed assets and IPare recorded & reported with accuracy and completeness.

- Determination of capex on each month end, proper categorization & justification for treatment, useful life, depreciation method applied for each asset.

- Preparation & Reporting of Fixed Asset Register on a monthly basis for the book closing activities, preparation of FA schedules for Balance Sheet, preparation of working notes and justification note for IP capitalized. Responsible for classification of assets for Project Accounting. Analytical review for variances.

- Liaising with auditors with respect to the FAR& IP Capitalization and responsible for closure of statutory audit for the entity.

- Optimizing and developing processes to improve efficiency, automation and quality of financial information.

- Ensuring that SOPs,accounting policy framework and internal control framework are established. Ensuring sanity of FAR andproactively identifying risks/opportunities.

Experience & Skills - Must have SAP exposure.

- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

- Leadership qualities & team player

- Critical thinker& problem solving attitude.

- Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.

- Result orientation and ability to meet and establish deadlines.

- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, good communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
