Manager - Financial Reporting - Insurance (4-10 yrs)

We are looking for Manager - Financial Reporting for a leading Insurance company based at Gurgaon.

We will be evaluating candidates from BIG 4 / KPO's/ Service Industry with very strong experience in IFRS and INDAS.

Job Location : Corporate HQ, Gurgaon

Education : CA / MBA ( FINANCE ) Regular.

CTC : Best in Industry

Reporting To : Assistant Vice President - Investments

Department : Finance

Exp : 5+ yrs post qualification experience in finance function, Life Insurance mandate

Nature of the Role : Team Handling ( 2 team members)

Working Timings : 9 am onwards, 5 days working

IRDA Financial

a) Tracking of key activities involved in financial closing including coordination with other stakeholders

b) Ensuring accuracy of the financial statements including compliance with necessary regulations

c) End to end preparation of financial statements and necessary disclosures

d) Audit management

Opex Closing : Month end Provisions- To expedite month end process and to create accurate provisioning so that monthly movements can be explained.

a) Align the concern dep't for data on time in advance by publish a Monthly closer tracker.

b) Prepare opex Jv walk from last month for analysis, accuracy check & manager's review.

c) Check whether all entries have been posted in Oracle, if not then tracker all pending entries.

d) Prepare necessary backup for Manager's & FC Review.

SH_MIS ( Major Key Area- Analysis of variance with budget )

1) Prepare IRDA financial TB on monthly bases for computation of Sh Profit.

2) Update PPT on monthly basis

3) Financial statement as per IND AS Preparation of Financial statement as per Ind AS basis IRDAI Ind AS proforma

4) Preparation of consolidation of financial statement Preparation of FFC (- Fit for Consolidation- ) Financial statement as per Ind AS in accordance with Schedule III of Companies Act 2013 for holding company.

Adhoc

a) Maintain documentation for IRDA Financial & other documents required for FSCP.

b) Expense of Management, DQM Etc.
