Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Manufacturing Firm (5-8 yrs)
Manager- FP&A
This position reports directly to the Director, FP&A and provides support on the annual budget process, forecasting and monthly variance analysis, and building and maintaining process flows. This position will work closely with the Company's Management Team.
Responsibilities :
- Support the annual budget process by working with cross-functional department heads and the Company's management team; take ownership of the OPEX, CAPEX planning process and the corresponding high-level analytics
- Create financial models to support VPs of Sales strategic recommendations for business growth based on top down and bottoms up projections to ensure investment deliver best return
- P&L ownership of multiple business units in the Aftermarket and OEM segments
- Support the monthly variance analysis process by providing deep analysis around selling volume analysis, gross margins analysis (actuals vs budget)
- Provide backup analysis for Transfer Pricing Adjustments
- Assist Director in Pricing/Other Proposals
- Develop, consolidate, compare and analyze actual results against budget and forecasts; explain and monitor variances; identify trends and recommend changes to the Management team
- Work closely with Management Team to create KPIs, dashboards; able to streamline and develop scalable and intuitive financial reports
- Able to conduct in-depth analyses of financials and examine business transactions against existing benchmarks to ensure best practices and optimization on business results
- Provide back up analysis of CVD AD accruals
- Provide guidance to Accounting team on mapping of expenses to correct business units
- Prepare monthly selling price trend analysis to the management
Requirements:
- BS degree in finance, MBA preferred and/or CPA a plus experience in corporate finance/financial planning & analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Advanced financial modeling skills
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Able to develop high level financial narrative
- Data-mining skills (comfortable with databases)
- Experience in working with cross-functional team and executive team
