KEY PURPOSE  Be a key business partner in providing financial guidance in key short- and long-term strategies of a critical region business unit in Asia that will drive significant growth for the company. Support and co-lead strong evaluation and tracking of performance for the year and sufficiency for the growth ambition in the long term. Help in managing a portfolio of multiple brands and countries, in close partnership with the commercial team.  B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS:  - Collate, analyze and present financial performance of the regional business unit.  - Monitor and highlight any deviations from expectations.  - Work with the business team in creating action plans to maximize opportunities or minimize seen risks.  - Includes annual business planning and long-term business plan to address how we translate ambition into action plans.  INNOVATION  - Work closely with the Innovation team in analyzing right business models for our innovation plans in the next 3-5 years.  - Be the critical player in analyzing capital investments that we will request from Minneapolis Headquarter.  - Help in shaping and improving our overall business portfolio.  BUDGETING  - Co-lead in Financial planning, forecasting, analysis & preparation of all revised estimates to ensure that the long-term business plans are met.  - Manage, co-ordinate and prepare revised business forecasts  - Analysis of monthly overall financial performance via causal track analysis for Minneapolis / Asia Pac.  PRODUCT COSTING  - Provide financial support to new business development and product development opportunities   - Prepare, collate and analyze and present costing details   - Suggest methods of Price reduction   - Liaise with R&D, Operations and marketing to derive optimum product cost  - Assist in costing and pricing decisions for new markets/ products to achieve operating margins  C. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES  - Preparation of financial information for presentations, briefings, Director Meetings etc.   - Challenge business managers on historical and future financial performance.  D. KEY INTERFACES  - Internal Sales & Marketing Teams - for working out Brand / Product Profitability - Weekly  - Marketing - for working out A & SP Analysis - Monthly.  - With Operations Managers - To work out - COGS- analysis. - Monthly  - Regional (Asia) and Corp Finance - Monthly  Mainly internal but across functions and levels and fairly regular.  E. INCUMBENT PROFILE  - MBA with about 5 or more years of experience in Financial Accounting, Treasury and Working capital functions in an independent business unit (manufacturing). Should have excellent Planning, numerical skills, analytical Skills and an eye for detail.
