Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Chemical Industry

Job Title: FP&A Manager - Chemical Industry Mumbai.

The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.

This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with various departments.

Job Responsibility:

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

- Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans.

- Collaborate with department heads to gather budget inputs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

- Monitor budget performance and provide insights on variances.

Forecasting:

- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts.

- Analyze trends and variances to develop accurate and timely financial forecasts.

- Provide recommendations for improving forecast accuracy.

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Present financial results and insights to senior management.

Variance Analysis:

- Conduct detailed variance analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast.

- Identify and explain key drivers of financial performance.

- Provide actionable recommendations to management for performance improvement.

Strategic Analysis:

- Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and modeling.

- Evaluate business cases for new projects, investments, and initiatives.

- Assist in the development of financial models to support decision-making.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the FP&A function.

- Implement best practices and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.

- Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.

- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to support financial decision-making.

Key Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Mandatory:

- Familiarity with ERP systems.

- Past experience of working on SAP.

- Experience working as an FP&A.
