Join our Projects and Change team and play a key role in delivering mid to large scale change projects across a variety of finance functions. Here you'll have the opportunity to work with a high performing projects team entrusted with the responsibility of running mandatory projects driven by the demand of the regional regulators and that involves changes in the process and system architecture.

- This role will see you become a member of the project team focused on providing finance subject matter expertise in Financial Control and Legal Entity Control.

- As part of this inclusive and supportive team, your core responsibilities will include coordinating and supporting finance process impacts, clean up, functional and production of required artefacts for entities.

- Working collaboratively with the finance function you'll empower change across teams such as technology, systems operations, and data. Leveraging your ability to swiftly understand the business context and your experience working as a SME on change projects across regulatory, structural reforms and reporting projects you'll help develop project plans, documents, and memos.

- Part of your responsibilities will also be to engage with business operations and legal teams to confirm if entities are clean and ready to be liquidated so it is important that you possess an understanding of semi-annual assessments for ability to pay dividends, impairment requirements and thin-capitalisation status for entities.

- You'll also manage the clean-up of residual business balances in the GL (e.g., fixed assets, settle calypso suspense funding, close MTS books, remap/settle inter-book suspense amounts, etc) and have good understanding of risk assessments like Financial Operational Risk Management (FOCUS review sign offs).

- Throughout your work you'll demonstrate resilience and effectively manage ambiguity related to the projects and managing multiple stakeholders, and use your focused and quality interactions view to drive decisions and mitigate project risks.

- You'll communicate regularly with the project manager and/or the work stream leads and provide accurate and timely status updates around blockers and areas of improvement while providing accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders and highlighting risks/issues.

- As a subject matter expert you'll possess strong finance knowledge across audit management, financial statement preparation, dissolution/liquidation process of entities and other management/regulatory reporting.

- You'll also have proven experience in financial control/legal entity control BAU activities such as monitoring for FX exposures, cross border interest booking, local GAAP reporting, accounting, credit provisions, intercompany funding, ELE/Non-ELE exposures and similar.

- You must be detail-oriented with good intuitive reasoning and project management skills along with strong communication, analytical, organizational, and research skills.

- Good interpersonal skills along with the capability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-border teams is needed to be successful.

- You should also have expertise in finance control and accounting processes with ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently.
