Qualification:
A Chartered Accountant and/or MBA, Finance with 8 to 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience who is well versed in handling budgeting, reporting and financial analysis process preferably from Hospitality background.
Job Description
1. Review, benchmark and analyse hotel & portfolio-level financial data of all operating hotels and keep informed of the dynamics of each market to develop a strong understanding of the hotels and their respective markets.
2. Review of annual operating budgets submitted by the operator, consolidation of the same with Corporate Budget and presentation to the Board for approval.
3. Review of Capex Budget/proposals of each hotel and arranging the approval of the same from Board.
4. Identification of cost saving opportunities at each of the hotels and implementation of same to increase the profitability of the hotels.
5. Preparation of various monthly reports for review by the management to keep them informed of the various business operations of the organization viz. hotel development, operating performances, debt financing and cash flow updates.
6. Finalization and execution of lease with tenants; spearheading the operations/maintenance of commercial tower.
7. Periodic property visit to review the asset maintenance and up keep.
8. Liaise and co-ordinate with hotel operating team, regulatory authorities, consultants, etc., in renewing/obtaining required operating licenses.
9. Any other related activities as and when required.
