Manager - Financial Accounting - CA/ICWA (6-12 yrs)
Chartered (CA)/ Cost Accountant(ICWA) with not less than 7 years of post qualification experience or a CA/ICWA Intermediate pass with not less than 8 years relevant experience or a Graduate in Commerce with not less than 12 years relevant experience
- Good knowledge of financial accounting standards, accounting laws and regulations
- Good experience and knowledge in financial accounting and reporting systems, preferably with prior experience on People Soft Financial Accounting system
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Should have experience of mentoring and managing teams
Major Responsibility
The role is second in charge to Head of Finance - Financial Accounting, Governance & CF for Financial Accounting & Governance for both the legal entities in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for ensuring completeness and accuracy of the accounting records for the two legal entities in Bengaluru by continuous monitoring and review; preparation and presentation of financial statements. Managing and maintaining the financial systems including the updating and upgrading as per requirement. Subject matter expert on financial accounting and governance, Group Accounting policies & procedures. Managing the Statutory and Tax audit end to end for both the legal entities and ensuring finalization in a timely manner. Responsible for managing the work done by the third party from the point of view of ensuring their completeness and timeliness. Funds management for Bengaluru entities and invoicing to service receivers. Implementing the changes in regulatory framework
- Leading the month end Financial Accounting reporting activity from the front - including drawing up of a monthly financial accounting closure calendar, monitoring activities done as per the calendar to ensure no overruns, review and booking of the tax entries and ensuring the accounts are closed in line with the requirements of the Group requirements, both in terms of completeness of closure and the timelines for closure
