Job Description

Sourcing Guidelines :

1. Educational Qualifications - Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA (US) or ACCA (UK)

2. Currently working with any of the Big 4 companies

3. Preferably from Financial Services background - Credit Unions, Banks/Credit-Card companies/Investment Banks, Insurance Companies. Accountancy companies or Consumer-finance companies.

4. Do not source candidates from HSBC & AIG Analytics

5. Should have worked on any of the IFRS Standards, preferably IFRS 17

6. Check candidate availability for a F2F discussion on 16th Feb, in Gurgaon.

Primary responsibilities :

1. Lead global or domestic client service teams to execute the following FAAS solutions:

2. Financial Accounting and Reporting Excellence

3. GAAP conversions

4. Transaction accounting

5. Accounting change (revenue recognition and lease accounting)

6. Accounting policy and governance

7. Audit remediation and readiness

8. Organizing and providing technical training

9. Addressing service delivery quality issues, if and when they occur

Manage and develop People

1. Lead a team of Assistant Managers and Seniors and make sure the team delivers high-quality work, as per the client Global methodology, on time and to budget

2. Conduct FAAS team performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and contribute to the team performance

3. Identify development opportunities and training needs for high performing Assistant Managers or Seniors Manage Business and Clients

4. Actively support the Americas or EMEIA FAAS leadership both in terms of growth as well as quality initiatives

5. Enhance relationships with global teams and leverage connections to identify opportunities for work at the client

Qualifications, skills, and experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA (US) or ACCA (UK)

- 7 to 10 years of post qualification experience in auditing or finance controllership roles, including at least 2 years of Financial Accounting and Advisory experience

- Expert knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and Indian accounting standards

Extensive hands-on experience in the following areas:

- GAAP conversions and implementation of new accounting standards

- Drafting and designing accounting policies

- Technical accounting research and advisory

- Consolidation and compilation support

- Financial statement close process support
