ROLE OF AN FINANCE TRANSFORMATION MANAGER :

- Scaler Academy is looking for a Finance Transformation Manager for its global ed-tech business based in Bangalore.

- As Finance Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for key strategic initiatives to help improve the finance department and business overall.

- You will be managing and executing a number of key projects development, implementation of global processes, and ERP.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Creating SOP manuals for the Finance Department through the lens of ERP enablement

- Design and implement SOX/ICFR control framework related to Business Process

- Perform comprehensive control design and operating environment reviews for all the in scope

- Designs and administers internal controls over financial reporting relating to business process controls.

- Review the process, design and implement new controls to mitigate the gaps in process, define the control objectives and monitor compliance efforts.

- Take proactive measures to mitigate the gaps and strengthen the business control processes.

- Report SOX Compliance status and required action plan to senior Management

- Stays abreast of changes in SOX regulations to ensure timely compliance.

- Responsible for working with different business owners on implementation, execution and compliance with entity level controls. Evaluates the review and analyzes data pertaining to information systems functions relative to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

- Identification and implementation of ERP

- Ensure adequacy/effectiveness of Financial controls both at Operational and Process levels. Reporting on risk management issues

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Detailed understanding of the finance processes and strategies to drive improvements in areas of Order-to-Cash,Record-to-Report,Procure-to-Pay,Financial Planning & Analysis, etc.

- An innovative and transformation mindset to identify improvement opportunities to optimize processes, decrease costs and increase client value

- Strong knowledge of SOX requirements and ability to assist with documentation of financial process controls to support operational as well as SOX compliance audits, including performing walkthroughs and developing process flow charts.

- Hands on experience in creating new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures

- Fair understanding of ITGC and ITAC controls

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

- Chartered Accountant or MBA

- Experience in Internal Audit department of Big 4 is an added advantage

- Experience in ERP Implementation

- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
