Key responsibilities:

1. Institutionalize finance/business processes to enable productivity, control adherence by leveraging tech-based solutions for scalability and process reliance.

2. Leverage SAP or integration with other systems (through Middleware) for driving critical business control and support timely decision making.

3. Develop methodology for objective system capability assessment to enable finance and business stakeholders.

4. Lead IT project management (detailed CPS with timeline and milestones) to fulfil business needs and support finance process maturity.

5. Lead Vendor management (develop detailed BRD and FSD document) to ensure planned solution upgrades seamlessly transition to deliver desired results within targeted timelines.

6. Develop long term strategic road map for finance process automation with clearly identified milestones and timelines.

7. Drive cost efficiency across different cost pools by leveraging tech-based solutions for creating right visibility and enabling actionable decision-making process using appropriate follow up and monitoring automation.

8. Should be open to coding and development of solutions using the programming tools identified by the Airline.

9. Suggest continuous improvement to existing processes, scale up user experience through developing user friendly One Point Lessons and facilitate seamless Finance processes.

Desired Qualification / certifications:

- MBA - Finance (From Tier-1 College)

- CA/ CFA /FRM, preferred

Preferred relevant work experience

- 5+ years' experience in IT solutions and management

- Advance proficiency in coding languages like Python, SQL, Visualization tools

- Experience with Finance Operations or Business processes is highly preferred

Skills and knowledge:

1. Functional:

a. Basic understanding of core finance operations (Financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, Cash Forecasting, P2P and AR/AP processes)

b. Strong IT proficiency and analytical skills to identify the Airline's IT requirements and come up with optimized solutions
