Job Summary :
- This is a hybrid role managing finance, accounting, budgeting, taxation, policy making, company secretarial and administration of day-to-day operation, including human resources management.
- You are responsible for the start-up of the Company's operation, ensuring adherence to total company secretarial, taxation and accounting compliance matters and liaising with key stakeholders to complete the establishment of the Company in India.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for taking on a leadership role to organise and manage overall finance, office administration and operations including set-up procedures in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Provide high quality financial advice and recommendation to internal stakeholders and Senior Management team to execute the financial and strategy plan of the Company.
- Manage accounting process, all finance and treasury related activities that effectively supports Our client business areas, including working capital management.
- Optimise the use of banking facilities and products which enhances and facilitates the cashflows of the Company.
- Manage legal requirements, company registrations and tax related matters as required legally.
- Oversee and manage annual budgeting and reporting.
- Organize office operations and develop office policies and standards.
- Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping, ensuring security, integrity and confidentiality of data.
- Work closely with regional office / HQ on various human resource activities including recruitment, compensation and benefits management, and employee relations.
- Manage the team of staff's morale including instilling Company's values, encourage positive behaviors and driving performance.
- Oversee facilities maintenance, supplies, equipment, and others related to office operations.
- Liaise with business partners, bankers, associates, vendors, external auditors, government bodies for various business dealings.
- Establish company policies and all related standard operating procedures for compliance to regulation and alignment with the Group.
Essential Experience:
1. 12+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a senior financial managerial position / controlling role and has worked with a Big Four auditing firm.
2. Have hands-on start-up experience.
3. Demonstrated high energy with a true desire to understand the drivers of the business.
4. Extensive experience in working with all levels of staff, from rank-and-file personnel and senior management.
5. Demonstrated track-record of collaborating with various stakeholders in driving change and supporting business growth.
6. Excellent Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skill. Knowledge in SAP is a plus.
