Manager - Finance - NGO - CA (8-12 yrs)

We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will track and analyse every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to management on future financial plans.

The goal is to enable the leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the organization's objectives.

Qualifications, Experience and Eligibility : 

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Finance function of a small to medium sized organization.

- B Com graduate, CA is a must have qualification.

- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

- Good reading, writing and verbal skills in English Language.

- Non-government and non-profit sector experience is preferred.

- Understanding of the grants and their accounting standards shall be a plus.

- Proven experience as a Financial Manager leading a team of 2-5 people.

- Experience in the Finance domain with previous possible roles in accounting and financial analysis for projects, programs and company budget management.

- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.

- Knowledge in MS office, financial tools and software.

- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.

- Experienced in internal and external audit management.

- Experienced in income tax and other tax implications.

Job description -

- Create, streamline and manage all financial processes in the organization.

- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

- Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.

- Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.

- Manage the preparation of the company's budget.

- Discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

- Analyse costs, inflows and outflows, grants, project finance and all money movement.

- Assess the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.

- Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.

- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

- Records management, maintain all records in the Finance function.

- Reporting and documentation to internal and external stakeholders.

- Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

- Correspond with various other departments, outside grant agencies and partners.

- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

- Maintaining the financial health of the organization.
