About the Role:


- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join our growing NBFC.


- This role will support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and contribute to the effective management of the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting & Analysis:


- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.


- Prepare and maintain financial models and forecasts. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.


Regulatory Compliance:


- Ensure compliance with all relevant NBFC regulations and reporting requirements (RBI guidelines, etc.).


- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports. Stay updated on changes in regulations and ensure adherence.


Budgeting & Forecasting:


- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.


- Analyze variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.


- Support the annual budgeting process.


Audit & Taxation:


- Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits. Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.


- Assist in tax planning and optimization. Treasury Management: Assist in managing cash flow and liquidity.


- Monitor and manage banking relationships. Support treasury operations.


Risk Management:


- Assist in identifying and assessing financial risks.


- Support the implementation of risk management policies and procedures.


Team Support:


- Support the CFO on ad-hoc projects. Mentor junior finance staff.


- Improve the financial process.


Qualifications:


Experience:


- 3-4 years of experience in finance, preferably in an NBFC or financial services environment.


- Experience with financial reporting, analysis, and regulatory compliance.


Skills:


- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.


- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.


- Knowledge of NBFC regulations and reporting requirements.


- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Education: CA, MBA (Finance), or other relevant certifications are preferred.
