Manager - Finance - Mass Media

Manager Finance role in Mass Media Industry : 

- Position to manage outsourced payables process, cost centre accounting, closing, controllership, audits & MIS reporting for programming / SG&A finance area.

Responsibilities :

Areas of Responsibility :

- Responsible for monitoring the month end work including posting invoices, preparing accruals, and reconciliations

- Manage the team members to ensure completion of accurate and timely Accounts Payable processes, provide guidance on moderate to complex issues with effective resolution

- Develop and monitor metrics, reporting and the performance of the AP group

- Standardized processes across the AP function and ensure the necessary training is provided resulting in consistent processing

- Responsible for handling Inventorization/Amortization for content purchases

- Support & oversee activities of accounts payables process for SG&A with the contracted outsourced partner

- Monitoring & supervising various hygiene areas like invoices TAT, SLAs, resolutions, approvals, etc.

- Responsible for handling cost center accounting, closing, audits, controllership etc.

- Preparation of controllership schedules on monthly basis for managements review

- Completion of monthly reporting to the respective teams

- Assist the Internal Audit & Statutory Audit teams

- Maintain strong relationship with the business

- Work on additional finance projects on regular basis, if required

Basic Qualifications :

Experience and qualification :

- MBA / B.Com / M.Com with minimum 7-10 years of experience

Skills Required :

Additional Information :

- Excellent MS Excel & PPT skills

- Excellent Peoplesoft, SAP & Acenza knowledge

- Working knowledge of TDS & GST
