Manager - Finance - IT (5-15 yrs)
Job Title : Finance Manager
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day management of the client's company and its funds. The role will involve managing the Term Fund of the company and adopting the funds investment policy to maximize returns for members
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintaining the billing system
- Generating invoices and account statements
- Performing account reconciliations
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
- Producing monthly financial and management reports
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
- Assisting in general financial management and analysis
- MIS, Accounting and Reporting
a. Assist the Financial Controller in managing day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, banking, electronic and cash transfers, and other payments.
b. Prepare regular reporting information on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, along with supporting analysis and commentary.
c. Present all reporting information and analysis to stakeholders and deal with any issues arising.
d. Prepare year and half-year financial reports and supporting documentation.
e. Process banking transactions.
f. Prepare statutory reports for half-year and full-year end.
g. Maintain fixed asset registers.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field/ CA / MBA Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in revenue assurance, accounts receivable, or related field
- Expertise in MIS and data analysis
- Effective communication and people skills
- Experience working in a start-up environment preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Notice period of 30 days or less
