Title of Position : Finance Manager

Department : Finance

Reports To : Controller

Direct Reports : 2 Team Leads, who in turn manages 9 people

Geographical Scope : Kochi, India

POSITION SUMMARY :

As a key member of entity management team, the person will be responsible for overall finance and accounting activities of the legal entity. The person should establish financial tools, processes and analysis necessary to track, control and improve the performance of the business. The person will also develop efficient finance team with the right mix of skill and competencies with a culture of accountability, business partnership and continuous learning.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED :

Controllership Function :

1) Full controllership responsibility of legal entity - Supervise, control and organize in all financial dimensions (Financial Accounting, Tax, Payroll, Payables, Treasury, Statutory Reporting, etc)

2) Ensure compliance to internal controls, finance policies & statutory regulations

3) Co-ordinate with external auditors to complete year-end audit

4) Ensure all transactions are booked accurately

5) Ensure on-time closing, reporting & forecasting

6) Perform STAT to US GAAP reconciliation

7) Improve internal financial process of legal entity

8) Timely communication to HQ / business unit / Group lead

9) Providing monthly financial performance measures to Group Leads

10) Develop financial model for FBC service

Team management :

1) Full accountability of FBC Finance Function

2) Ensure high quality deliverables on time

3) Drive value creation for business units

4) Build team of high quality people

5) Drive training & development to build expertise

6) Conduct performance review with regular feedback mechanism, along with coaching

7) Develop backup and succession plan for team

8) Business Development of FBC Activities

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

- Accounting Degree like CA/CPA or Master's degree in Business or Finance

- Minimum 10-12 years of progressive finance / accounting experience, of which 5 - 7 years of financial managerial role gained preferably in MNC environment or BPO

- Minimum 5 years managerial experience is required

SKILLS REQUIRED :


- Strong leadership ability to drive results

- Good communicator, with strong persuasion ability

- Strong Interpersonal ability to influence business partners and team members

- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

- Good knowledge of Microsoft excel & PowerPoint

- Fluency in English is a must
