Finance Manager

About the Company:

A leading FMCG company in Oman, recognized for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation in the bottled mineral water segment. With a strong market presence and continuous growth, the company seeks a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to strengthen financial leadership and drive long-term business success.

- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

- Conduct variance analysis and suggest corrective actions

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management

Cost Control & Profitability:

- Analyze production costs and suggest cost-saving strategies

- Monitor inventory, COGS, and pricing strategies for profitability

- Recommend operational improvements based on financial insights

Accounting & Compliance:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping

- Ensure compliance with Omani tax laws, VAT, and other regulatory requirements

- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audits

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

- Manage company cash flows and working capital efficiently

- Oversee banking relationships and credit facilities

- Optimize fund utilization and investment strategies

ERP & Systems:

- Ensure smooth functioning and accuracy of ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally)

- Drive automation of financial processes where possible

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals

- Coordinate with other departments to align financial planning with business strategy

- Act as a strategic advisor to the senior management on financial matters

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CPA/CA preferred)

- Minimum 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in FMCG or manufacturing

- Strong understanding of Omani regulatory and tax framework

- Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel

- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
