JOB SCOPE

To effectively and efficiently manage the company's Finance ,Commercial & Accounts function;

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports To: General Manager

SUPERVISES: Accounts, Stores, Commercial/Export departments

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal : Other Departments of the Estate External : Regulators, Govt bodies, Banks, Auditors, Debtors , Creditors,

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Strategic Contribution: As heading the Commercial/Accounts team, the role shall contribute towards the implementation of overall business strategies and plans which enable the achievement of Company's objectives.

- Financial Accounting and Statutory Compliances: Preparation and finalisation of the financial accounts on Monthly, quarterly and yearly basis in accordance with reporting requirements, for approval and review by Board.

- Ensure statutory compliances at all times and viz PAYE, NSSF, VAT,WCF, CESS, LAND RENT and any other levy as applicable.

- Dealing with statutory, government and tax auditors and authorities.

- Filing of Annual returns for the companies and directors.

- Financial and MIS Reports Preparation Monitoring and interpreting of MIS and cash flows on monthly basis in order to keep the decision makers (Board of Directors and the senior management team) informed about the financial health of the company. MI shall be circulated on or before 15th of every month.

- Board papers to be circulated for every quarter.

- Financial Planning & Budget: Prepare and present budgets and monitor actual financial performance versus budget to control costs and re- adjust strategies for revenue growth.

- Funds Management: Establish systems and controls for receipt and disbursements of funds and forecasting short and midterm requirements to ensure disbursements in line with company policies and procedures.

- Banking Relationship: Establish effective working relationships with banks, financial and credit institutions.

Internal Control and Audit :

- To ensure all internal controls are in place to secure company's assets and financial risks are minimized. Undertake periodic reconciliations of Bank, cash & stocks. GRN,MRN, Internal Trf stock slips are being followed up as per the set system. To undertake periodic stock takes. Field visit to ensure accuracy of the worker's attendance. SoP for field/factory Mandays recruitment, payments are followed aptly.

Commercial Licencing and statutory compliances :

- Oversee imports / exports, sourcing of materials and suppliers both within Tanzania and outside for all materials - RM-PM, Stores and Spares

Others:

- To carry out any other duties as directed by the Management.

- High level of teamwork and able to work independently
