We are looking for a Manager - Finance ( Controllership) with our client with a global presence based at Gurgaon.

General Summary

This is a role to assist AVP finance to manages the entire finance controllership function on a day to day basis for India, Singapore, Asset Reconstruction P. Ltd. (which is the Indian Debt Buying entity) and Luxembourg. The role is responsible for Indian & US GAAP accounting, local and US reporting, managing audits and managing the tax compliances.

Primary responsibilities include :

- Manage & Lead the accounting team which handles entire accounting & payments, Indian & US GAAP accounting, statutory & tax audit, etc

- Responsible to ensure all Vendor payments are correct and within TAT and ap per policy

- Manage all statutory compliances including STPI compliances, indirect tax including service tax, ensuring that service tax refunds are received timely,

- . Provide MIS and analysis to the Leadership/decision making team and support in key decisions for the India

- Ensure preparation of Statutory financials & manage audit for India site

- Work closely with US for SOX implementation. Ensure SOX compliance & quarterly certifications for India business

- Manage all insurances for India site. This will also require working closely with US on policies administered by them.

- Monthly closing of India books to enable smooth US reporting, keep track of USGAAP & IGAAP differences, monthly Balance Sheet item reconciliations, etc.

- Management of direct reports (reporting to the role) 3-4

Technical Skills Strong knowledge of GAAP, Indian Accounting, Indian Tax laws

PC Skills Proficiency with MS Office

Other Skills :

- Strong communication skill is necessary as the person will be required to work with senior management

- Good change management Skills

- Ability to coach and develop team members both technically and in soft skills
