Job Description :

Manager Finance shall report to Finance Controller and shall partner with him in implementing and maintaining controls in line with U.S. and local GAAP requirements, and Accounting Policies. He will devote significant time to improving the control environment and financial processes and discipline.

Our client is a US based MNC in packaging industry and are industry leaders within same with a global turnover of USD 16 billion +. With an employee base of 45000+ and an every expanding India business, they are looking to hire a finance manager to head their finance operations in India

Description :

Reporting to the Finance Controller you will responsible for :

- Managing financial statements and reporting

- Ensuring timely reconciliation and consolidation of accounts

- Ensuring and developing internal controls for the organization

- Managing working capital and treasury

- Handling and mentoring a team of 3- 4 reportees

Profile :

Experience :

- Experience with any of the following is desirable: a decentralized organization (i.e., multiple legal entities, financial structure), a fragmented customer base, a commercially-driven organization.

- Should have independently handled financial accounting systems, should have a good understanding of the business and should have good knowledge of legal requirements, commercial acumen, accounting standards, taxation, company laws and best practice in financial controls.

Professional qualifications :

- Successful candidate should be a CA 6 to 9 years of finance and accounting experience with large manufacturing set up.

- Familiarity with Indian treasury procedures and tax policies is required. Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP is a must.

- Candidate will have shown significant career progress and will have assumed leadership positions based on outstanding performance.
