Manager - Finance - CA - Mobile Payments Firm (8-12 yrs)
Job Summary:
The Financial Manager will be responsible to analyze every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts and financial statements
- Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Producing long-term business plans
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
- Managing budgets, controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
- Developing and managing financial systems/models
- Carrying out business modeling and risk assessments
Requirements:
- 8+ years of work experience
- Professional qualification of the chartered accountant is a must
- Should have led a team for a minimum period of 2 years
- Knowledge of financial accounting software, tool and systems to enhance efficiency of finance processes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to guide and lead team members
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation regulations and audits
