They are looking to hire a Manager accounts, who will work closely with the Finance Head and manage finance covering fund accounting, administration, taxation and compliances.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles

- Working with a set of team from funds administrator including liaising with Auditors, Consultants, bankers etc

- Prepare budget and financial forecasts

- Manage taxation, compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.

- Develop periodic reports for management.

- Manage Income tax compliances- advance tax, monthly TDS for third party vendors, quarterly return filing, etc.

- Companies Act compliances, Provident fund and ESI compliance

- Manage preparation of financial statements and related schedules, statutory audit for FY end including liaising with the Auditors

- Good knowledge of QuickBooks

Profile

REQUIREMENTS

- Proven working experience as in a relevant field, ideally between 8-10 years of experience in finance with a buy side firm, PE or Hedge fund

- Thorough knowledge of fund accounting, good knowledge of India and Mauritius taxation and compliances

- Good business acumen, hands-on experience in excel modelling

- CA by qualification, preferably first attempt

- Experience of working in Big 4 accounting firms
