Role Responsibilities & Accountability :
- Timely and accurate completion of month end closing, consolidation of accounts, reconciliation and reporting.
- Timely and accurate completion of external reporting, including statutory and tax audits, transfer pricing and other external reporting.
- Balance sheet review including the identification and resolution of gaps, aged items and exceptions.
- Internal process review, improvement and implementation.
- Liaise closely with Finance, Operations and Business teams as well as external auditors and advisors.
- Responsibility for preparing and monitoring direct and indirect tax assessments as well as income tax and GST compliance.
- Capex management - including accounting for fixed assets in line with accounting standards and policies.
- Liaising with IT and working on the automation of various processes.
- Assist with MIS, business reporting and FP&A.

- Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with senior management and other departments.
- Willingness to develop business partnering skills.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (Indian Standards essential and UK GAAP/IFRS strongly preferred)
- Strong Excel and system skills.
- Should have the ability to think on their feet to solve problems that might arise.
