Manager - Finance - Biotech Startup (5-8 yrs)
Finance Manager - well funded biotech start up
About company :
- Our client is a well-funded start-up comprising of engineers, physicians, designers and scientists, who have partnered with advanced labs and elite sports persons, to invent and develop products for improving sports related performance and health.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with and support the CEO in the preparation of annual and three-year financial plans
- Maintain and update forecasts through the year against budget
- Manage financial controls, accounting procedures and ensure transparency over the financial performance of the company
- Provide advice on how to increase revenue, reduce costs and achieve financial goals
- Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments
- Coordinate and produce all tax documentation and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Manage financial reporting to CEO, board members, and investors as needed
Requirements :
- Rank holding CA+MBA from a top tier MBA college
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate finance role
- Experience in leading finance teams and an ability to supervise financial partnerships across the globe.
- Understanding of financial practices in technology and consumer businesses
- Experience with Internet companies to manage payment gateways, currency exchange, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking to support value creation and growth.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Passion for health and sports
