Designation: Finance Manager
Should be only FROM AGRI COMMODITIES INDUSTRY
To establish and maintain accounting and financial management for commodities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements as per company policies and procedures. The FM is also responsible for budgeting and reporting on the financial performance of the company to the management.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Maintain day-to-day financial control of the activities within the budget as agreed by the management.
- Ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored, including credit control.
- Advise on the proper allocation of resources.
- Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place and in use at all times.
- Prepare and review detailed budgets for approval by the management
- Make regular reports to the management on income, expenditure and any variations from the budgets.
- Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met in relation to submissions for funding, for contracts and any other initiatives.
- Assist with financial aspects of contract negotiations and project proposals.
- Provide and coordinate all accounting and taxation services.
- Ensure accounting and financial policies and procedures are up to date
- Ensure appropriate risk management techniques and financial controls are embedded throughout the company at strategic and operational levels.
- Provide an external interface with banks, auditors, and other government statutory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with recognized accounting certification like CMA, ACCA, CPA, IFRS etc.
- Good years of professional experience in managerial level.
- Experience with Commodities trading and investment portfolios.
- Qualified accountant with strong financial management experience
- Experience of developing and improving financial systems in a way that is appropriate for the specific programs in place.
- Fully conversant with accounting principles
- Track record of working with tight budgets
- Ability to analyze and meet deadlines
- Time management, workload planning
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Very good in verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic would be an advantage.

- Self-motivated and disciplined
