JOB DESCRIPTION :

Job Title: Manager - Finance & Accounts

Reports to: DGM- Finance & Accounts

1. JOB PURPOSE:

- This role will handle various activities relating to Finance, Accounts and Project/Construction accounting. The candidate will be responsible for managing the activities of a team and ensuring the deliverables/deadlines are met.

2. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES :

EXPECTED END RESULTS MAJOR ACTIVITIES :

- Proactive approach to Manage the Finance & Accounts as Manager. Shall be able to mentor and manage a team of accountants. Review of General ledger, inter-company/ inter-unit & other balance sheet account reconciliation to ensure all balance sheet accounts are providing correct balances at month end and before stat audits.

- Should have knowledge of IND AS, Audits and taxation Preparation of monthly business report for management, which includes compilation & review of information of operational hotels and corporate office.

- Customer Orientation, Set high standards of reporting and meaningful analysis Preparation of standalone & consolidated IND AS & IGAAP financial statements on quarterly basis and obtain auditors certification.

- Proactive approach to handling & coordination statutory audit & Tax audit.

- Coordinate with operating hotels and other teams for timely completion of Stat / Tax audits/TP audits

- Coordinate with auditors and ensure conclusion of tax, Stat and TP audits as per set audit calendar

- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statement as per IGAAP & IND AS

- Collecting and Standardizing reports, schedules of Stat Audit from operating hotels

- Team management and inspire them by example.

- Preparation/compilation of monthly MIS, annual budgets (including cash flow) including coordination with various departments and hotels operation to collate data for the same. Set high standards of reporting and meaningful analysis

- Interacting with financial controllers of hotels(units) to ensure all data elements for Management Information System (MIS) and submitted in desired formats by agreed due dates

- Management Accounts and closely tracking monthly Statutory Compliance

- Planning and allocation of team activities. Keep the team motivated and engaged. Be A self- starter with high- energy levels Direct tax & Indirect Taxes

- Good knowledge of direct tax compliance

- Coordinate with direct tax consultants and provide for data required by tax authorities.

- Keep the business abreast with latest changes in direct tax and their impact on the business.

- Compilation and coordination with Hotels & auditors for tax audit, TP Study & TP audit.

- Working knowledge of GST-direct tax compliance

- Maintain & Review state wise indirect direct tax compliance checklist to ensure 100% compliance under Pre GST & Post GST regime.

- Take initiatives to automate the financial processes.

5. DIMENSIONS :

- Compilation & review of information of operational hotels and corporate office

- Worked with large size organisation having TO above 500 crores or more

- Expertise in Hotel Operations, Import Remittances & Documentation, Audit financial closures, Insurance Management, Cash Flow Management

- Compilation and coordination with Hotels & auditors for Indirect Tax-GST compliance

6. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Required Skills/Knowledge :

The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

- IGAAP & IND AS financials

- MIS compilation and analysis

- Filing corporate ITR, Direct Tax Assessments

- Stat, Tax & TP audits

- ERP- SUN SYSTEMS and any other ERP

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

Candidate must demonstrate the following skills:

- Excellent understanding accounting principles

- Ability to analysis of data and produce presentable analytical report

- Strong and well controlled, meeting, deadline oriented execution skills

- Have a commitment to excellence

Educational Qualification:

Desired: Chartered Accountant with 4+ post qualification experience

Relevant Experience :

Post qualification 4-7 years
