Manager - Finance & Accounts - CA (5-10 yrs)
We require people with CA/CPA qualification with US Gaap knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the reconciliation of general ledger accounts to include inventory, derivatives and sales clearance accounts
- Ensuring the accuracy of accounting in the GL and responsibility for making journals where required.
- Communicating with other business units, researching and resolving the open items.
- Special accounting related projects (ledger enhancements, reporting changes, etc)
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors.
- Maintenance of internal controls frameworks
Key Result Areas:
- Accurate financial information provided for publicly filed financial statements
- Timely and accurate account reconciliation
- Identification and assessments of control gaps
- Communication and escalation of issues to US partners
Qualifications:
- Post graduate experience with 5+ years of accounting experience
- Management experience preferred
- Certified public accountant (Chartered accountant equivalency)
- Knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal daily supervision.
