Job Title/Designation : Manager - Finance & Accounts, Mumbai

Employment Type : Full Time, Permanent

Job Description :

Job Purpose: This position will be at a middle level in the hierarchy in the department reporting to Sr. Manager / JVP. This position will handle areas like general accounting, operations accounting, financial reporting, taxation, banking & investment etc.

Area & Responsibility :

- General Accounting (including operations accounting)

- Banking & Investment

- Financial Reporting

- Direct & Indirect Taxation

- MIS and Board Reporting

Department : Finance & Accounts

Reports to : Sr. Manager / JVP

Direct Reports : 4 to 5

Experience : Minimum 8 years' experience(excluding articleship) in either Finance & Accounts Department of Limited Company /Chartered Accountant firm

Required Qualification : C.A. and B.Com. (Ist Class)

Preferred Qualification : CS/ICWA would bean added qualification

Trainings : Training in the area of required knowledge would be an added advantage.

Functional Competencies :

- Hands on experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting (upto preparation of financial statements of limited company) and Audit

- Good level of Technology awareness

Knowledge :

- Very good knowledge of Accounting and Taxation (Income Tax, Goods & Service Tax), Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting requirements, Corporate and Mercantile Laws, Financial & Commercial aspects etc.

- Good Knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Word etc. Knowledge of various accounting softwares (Sun Systems), Fixed Assets software, MS-Access, ERP would be an added advantage.
