Manager - Finance

Job Overview:

- The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, managing cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making through effective MIS reporting.

- This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, analysis, and the unique challenges faced by a D2C brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor daily cash balances and forecast cash requirements.

- Manage and optimize working capital by analyzing cash inflows and outflows.

- Implement strategies to maintain adequate liquidity and financial stability.

Loan Management:

- Oversee and manage loan agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.

- Track and record loan payments, interest calculations, and amortization schedules.

- Negotiate loan terms with financial institutions and manage relationships with lenders.

MIS (Management Information System):

- Develop and maintain comprehensive MIS reports to support strategic planning and decision-making.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and performance metrics.

- Provide actionable insights to senior management based on MIS reports.

P&L Management:

- Analyze and report on profit and loss statements to identify areas of improvement.

- Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals.

- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets and forecasts.

Finance Operations:

- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA is a plus).

- Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.

- Strong understanding of cash flow management, loan administration, and MIS.

- Experience with P&L management and financial forecasting.

- Previous experience working with a D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) brand is a plus.

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, etc., is advantageous.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools
