As the Manager - Events and Activations, we are looking for an energetic leader for launching and implementing the marketing and events plan and budget for the Mall which is situated in a niche location, and working closely with the mall's centre management and sub-brand marketing teams to ensure consistent standards.
The key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Developing the Mall's awareness and creating a buzz on the local and regional markets
- Creating brand campaigns keeping in mind the positioning of the Mall as a lifestyle destination - most exclusive lifestyle, shopping, dining and entertainment destination
- Concept development of events and activations that lead to greater awareness of The mall brand ensuring good media mileage
- Introducing innovative ideas and new strategic partnerships to the mall
- Conducting and executing events and promotions to drive targeted footfall to the Mall
- Creating the yearly Events calendar(Christmas,Children's day etc.) and ensuring programs are consistently innovative targeted and effective
- Creating and executing End of Season Sale (EOSS) shopping concepts such as Buy and Fly, Shop and Win, Shop More Win More etc. keeping in mind the retailer visibility
- Managing the development and planning of events strategy and its implementation in line with the marketing strategy
- Managing budget for events and activations
- Working with the content and digital team to make sure events and activations are communicated across all channels
- Supporting development of CRM strategy and platforms to consistently strengthen The Mall owned communication channels
- Ensuring all Event operational requirements are adhered to and align with Health/Safety, and management guidelines with support of the team
- Competitor analysis and awareness of malls as well as identifying new trends that can be implemented
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience in conducting mall events and activations from event management companies
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of mall management practices and Brand Mix
- Strategic/Innovative Thinking
- Excellent Communication skills
