Job Description : Lead the RESH (Risk, Environment, Safety and Health) function of the plant based out of Goa whilst reporting into the Site Manager
Client Details : The client is a globally listed MNC which works on the Health and Hygiene portfolio. They manufacture one-time use products such as tissue paper, diapers, orthopedic, feminine hygiene etc.
Description :
- The role will be responsible for Business continuity and emergency preparedness on the site(s)
- Development of the strategy using the systems and maintaining standards of both external and internal bench-marking to ensure continuous improvement in both the areas
- Giving direction and support to managers for implementation and maintenance of health, safety and environmental systems and standards
- Serve as the authorities and certification bodies with the aim to achieve and maintain the useful certificates
- Provide expert guidance and support to the Site Manager to execute the organisation's enablers and the related goals to secure and ensure that the site complies with the laws/regulations and corporate standards and policies
- Support the organisation in Incident Management and related investigations with an aim to provide an opportunity to learn and avoid damage, personal injuries and risks
Profile :
- Candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience as EHS manager in any large production set-up of a pharmaceutical/textile/FMCG organization
- Demonstrated leadership skills and expertise on safety culture development and programs
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
