Manager - Environment/Health & Safety

Role & Responbilities:

- The position will be responsible for all the operational activities in shift including batch & furnace, float & lehr, cutting line, warehouse & dispatch, technical services, quality, offline, etc.

- Production Planning, Operations, Control and trubleshooting(Scheduling, supervision & adherence to plan).

- Manpower Planning & Deployment.

- Controlling process parameters within limits.

- To drive improvement activities on the shop floor to deliver products of the right quality.

- To drive quality consciousness and quality improvement activities on the shop floor.

- To deploy and work towards the Saint-Gobain- World Class Manufacturing Objectives / Pillars.

- To deploy and work towards a safe work Culture by adopting the Saint-Gobain EHS culture.

- Experience in entire domain activities related to shift operations such as planning and managing production schedules, manpower planning and deployment, production scheduling, and supervision.

Activities:

- Planning and managing the production schedule.

- Managing shift activities.

- Manpower Planning & Deployment.

- Production scheduling and supervision.

- Production planning, control, and troubleshooting.

Skills required:

- Raw material-related knowledge.

- Knowledge of glass properties.

- Fuel and combustion system.

- Experience in quality control systems & TQC.

- Knowledge of continuous processes & Criticalities involved.

- Knowledge in Industrial Safety, 5S, ISO Systems & QC Tools.

Industry Preferred: Any reputed Process Industry preferably steel, cement, paper, ceramic, etc.

Location : Alwar, Rajasthan.

Experience : 8 to 12 years.
